Announcing a new format, new handouts and all new programs.

We will continue to hold meetings for women twice a month, once on the second Saturday and once on the fourth Sunday. We are now also holding meetings just for men on the first Sunday of the month (with the few exceptions noted above), with the idea to expand to a second monthly meeting on the third weekend, if there is sufficient interest. All meetings are under a safe-space, all-inclusive policy, non-judgmental policy.

All meetings will continue to be from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The Saturday workshops will be guided by an experienced divorce attorney who has been Certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the California State Bar, Board of Legal Specialization and will focus on the most requested legal issues related to divorce.

Each Saturday workshop will include a presentation on a previously requested legal topic as well as legal topics of general interest, brought by the attendees of the day. Upcoming Saturday addresses are: Legal Considerations At The Beginning. Should you move out? When to file? Before move-out checklist. Before filing checklist. What happens after filing? How do you survive until the next step. What You Need To Know About Attorneys. Do you need one? How to interview/hire one? Reasonable expectations. How to save money when working with an attorney. Things You Should Know About the Legal Process (but might not be told). Where to file your case. How to find out about your Judge. What you can do if you don't like your Judge.
