Success Stories: Second Saturday Columbus, OH

From the leader of the Second Saturday workshop in Columbus, OH.

Second Saturday is experiencing tremendous growth and success!

First to address the workshop’s growth:  We had 3 participants at the inaugural event on October 10th .  Last Saturday, we had 20 participants attend the workshop of which 5  were walk-ins.   The growth was so amazing that we quickly had to assemble additional tables to accommodate all of the participants and presenters.

From an observer’s standpoint, it was evident that we were impacting the lives of every woman in the room.  Each participant was actively taking notes and fully engaged in the presentations.    The Women’s Exchange team developed a key metric to measure the workshop’s success by creating  an anxiety questionnaire.  This pre and post survey measured the level of anxiety each participant was experiencing at the beginning of the  workshop and then again at the conclusion.  The results below illustrate how the information shared in the workshop moved the anxiety needle.

Participants were overwhelming pleased with the workshop and thankful.  Below are a few of their comments.

  • The presenters were very knowledgeable, patient with questions, and detailed enough for the little time.
  • Very detailed and it has provided valuable information.
  • Excellent in EVERY way!
  • Thank you for having this!
  • Much more detailed and informed than expected.
  • Heavens yes-thorough!

The hope we are able to offer these women is priceless.   We are honored to be part of such a great program impacting the lives in our community.
